Our Pro Shift Kit for the KTM 690 (also fits the Huskqvarna 701 Enduro) should be on your list of to-do's in the near future. We've heard the complaints regarding the shifting action of the 690, this was our fix and it might be yours.

There's two versions available. One with a Stainless Steel Ball Bearing and one for the ultimate in performance with a 7 ball Ceramic Bearing. Those who are curious, Ceramic Ball Bearings stay cooler and resist deterioration due to corrosion better than Stainless Steel. Changing the Oil can make, maybe a 10% difference, but the Pro Shift Kit makes more like a 90% difference.

KTM 690 Pro Shift Kit

Easy to install especially if you lay the bike down so you don’t have to drain the oil. Noticeably smoother shifting after instal. Arrived in Canada earlier than expected.

Night and day!

If you have any of the bikes that this part fits, GET THIS PART! You might be thinking, oh, over $100 for some little wheel with bearings and a spring?! That's to much, it can't make that much a difference. Well I just installed it and took a test ride and the difference literally is night and day! I'll be going on a longer ride tomorrow to really prove it out but I know my bike before and after (rode before and after today) and the shifts are so smooth now, so light touch, I don't feel like I have to stomp on the down shifts or yank on the up shifts and there's no more *clunk*. No missed shifts this test ride but the feedback is so positive from gear changes I think unless I actually mess it up, those are a thing of the past too, and that's huge... I almost got taken out missing a shift merging into traffic! If being able to count on hitting your next gear every single time is important to you, spend the money, watch the install video on youtube, and get it done. Worth every cent of the $139.00 it costed for my Norden.
