For those that have already purchased the standalone riser kit for the 790/890 and now want to add the frame bracket, tower, and pin for use with a Scott's Steering Damper.

There is also an option to add the Scott's Steering Damper itself with the tower/pin. If damper is purchased the stepped +8mm link arm is included and comes installed on the damper.

This is our new updated tower/pin design that includes a black anodized frame bracket that is bolted to the motorcycle frame. then the stainless steel tower is bolted to the frame bracket and lastly the scott's performance pin is inserted into the tower. The new design is more robust and also allows for more positional variance from bike to bike.

NOTE: IF YOU ARE ON A NORDEN 901 YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRIM THE FUEL TANK PLASTIC SHROUD THAT IS BLOCKING ACCESS TO THE FACTORY NUT LOCATION. A SIMPLE NOTCH ABOUT 2.0" WIDE AND 2.0" TALL IS REQUIRED.

Excellent Customer Support and Impeccable Quality

I purchased a Scotts steering stabilizer and Pin for my ‘21 890. The mounting bracket was machined out of high-grade aluminum and the pin out of stainless steel.

During installation I ran into a problem whereas the stabilizer arm appeared to about 2mm too short and would not clear the pin. I called and spoke with Andrew who could not have been more helpful. After comparing my measurements to his 890 it turned out that the welded pin mounting plate was off my nearly 2mm. He then offered up several options from machining a custom pin to me drilling a second bolt location to close the gap, I choose the latter. Instead of blaming KTM and sending me to my local dealer, he went out of his way to find a workable solution.
