I purchased the Vanasche foot pegs from a buddy that was selling his KTM adv bike. I wanted to upgrade to the pads with more grip. I must say that these new pegs being a bit lower are amazing, wish I would have got them earlier. These are a great upgrade that I would highly recommend
This UHMW skid plate fits well, is easy to install, and looks like it will provide better protection that the smaller aluminum plate it replaced. I like the integrated protection for the brake booster and linkage. The left side also extends further upward covering the water pump and partially over the oil filter cover. The fact that it is formed from one sheet rather than seem welded gives it a durability advantage over the AXP style. All this at a reasonable price. I would recommend it.
I only wish Vanasche would develop one for the Tenere next.
The OEM plastic cover provides better coverage and (probably) protection. However, the case saver looks way better and does a good job with a minimalist design. It’s well made and makes cleaning the front sprocket/chain easier. Comes with the sensor cover.
